Good Morning

Here is my little Sleeping Beauty

Fresh out of bed...must have been a good sleep

And here is the same little lady after her mother got a hold of her...

Will someone remind her when she's older that she is lucky to have me???
That would be much appreciated
Thanks

Rumor has it...

That this little Lady is 2

As you can tell she is very excited about it!

Right now Lily

- Will only answer you if you call her "Baby" she says no I'n not a little girl mommy I'n a baby. The other night in her prayers I said "bless Lily that she can be a good girl" she cut me off and said "no mommy a baby"

-The only thing she wanted for her birthday was a pink cake and a pink sucker

- She is absolutely a little mini Angela (my little sis) Ramsey has always said it is so true. Aka a bit of a spaz mataz!

- She never stops yamering, she talks to herself she talks to you she talks on the phone.

-Anything and everything is a cell phone. The other day she was carrying around a little picture of Jesus and she held it up to her ear and said "oh hi Jesus...oh your so funny"

- She loves Anything Princess anything baby and anything pink. She also makes me anything I want to eat in her little kitchen.

- I hate to say it but she thinks any sort of "potty" humor is hilarious. Bum is her favorite word, and if you want to get her howling just say poop. Also any sort of "sound" and she'll crack up saying " hahahah Stinker Buuuum"

-She is soo stinkin fun and most days I just can't get enough of her'

Happy Birthday Lily Girl

Christmas in Kentucky

I have not really blogged forever so I don't really know where to begin...How about a whack load of pictures that let's face it only Grandparents care to see. So here it is in all it's glory...

Christmas 2009
Christmas Sunday. I do believe that I am borderline obsessed with Lily's Christmas dress and matching coat. Thanks to my mom who spoiled us during her trip here in October.

All bundled up for a "winter walk" that's what my kids call it when Ramsey takes them out for a walk in the cold. He bundles them all up in the double stroller and they look like they are in a bob sled.
Making sugar cookies, or in Lily's case just eating frosting.

Luke was all about sitting on Santa's lap he thought it was great, Lily on the other hand. Well this is as close as she got, she liked Mrs. Clause. She would tell me all the time "Santa's not mean Mommy, he's so nice" she still didn't want to sit with him.

Luke loved decorating the tree. We very much had a kid tree, but I don't care, that's the way I like it.
Luke was a pretty stinkin cute little drummer boy in his pre-school Christmas program.

And he was ever so proud of his Gingerbread house (ok whatever it was graham crackers, guess what the kids don't care) Again Lily just went to town with the candy. That's my girl!

Christmas Morning waiting on the stairs to come down and see if Santa came. In my house growing up we had to wait to hear the music from a train before we could come down stairs. At our house the kids have to wait until they hear Paul McCartney`s `Simply having a wonderful Christmas time` hahah they love it

I just had to put it up again, it`s the best picture ever and it pretty much sum`s up my kids. Luke trying to have control (stay here for the picture Lily) and Lily having a spaz attack. Yup that just about sum`s them up.

Christmas Morning cooking. And she has not stopped, she loves her neew little kitchen.

A very happy boy who finally got his own Woody and Buzz.

Ramsey said that every little boy needs a tub full of army men, so Luke got them, loved them, and Ramsey got to spend hours Christmas day setting them all up, knocking them all down and then starting all over again.

We missed being home with family, we missed all the crazy cousins and the late night card games. I even missed all the Canadian Snow. But all that aside I am grateful that we could have a fun little Christmas at home.
And there it is...Christmas at the Edwards!

ps. Thanks for the new computer Russ and Rhonda. I will keep the pics of the grandkiddies coming!

Take me to the movies

Girl time

I am the type of gal that loves my husband loves my kids and loves all that house wife business. But I have to say that I also LOVE me a Girls Night Out!! I have always been a girls girl and have always had really good girlfriends so when I talked to my little sis Sophie today and she asked me (ever so sweetly) if i had any "friends" (she's always looking out for me) I figured I had better prove it to her. So here is our latest Girls night out at you guessed it... New Moon! Typical I know but we had a good time. Only half the girls made it into the picture and only half of the girls made it to the right restaurant after but hey Good Times!!
So Soph you don't have to worry about me I have friends, and cute ones too. (not that that matters haha)

And you can see that we are smiling in the pic, that is partly because the movie was actually watchable(unlike twilight) and partly because of Jacobs Abs...there I said it and I am officially as lame as the 13 year old girls in the theater screaming his name so judge me all you want but whatever I don't care.

ps. For all of my non Kentucky friends I am the girl on the left with the brown hair. Like??

My old friend

DO YOU Remember ME?

I used to be a blogger, I actually really liked it. I used to have cute little stories about my kids, I used to share them. I used to talk to my Sis Angela< almost everyday on Skype (my kids were pretty sure that Aunt Angela lived in the computer) I Jacklyn used to be the good Bridge sister who kept in touch with everyone.

But no more.
I was robbed of my identity
by an assailant

And her name is Emily

Don't you think that it's a little odd that the same week that not 1 but 2 of our computers died (cutting me off from the blogging world) who should surface as a MAD blogger none other than my own sister. The same sister that for the last few years has been keeping in touch with our beloved hike school girlfriends (no, no typo there I meant to say "hike") through ME.

"Hey how's Em Jack"
"oh you know she's good, she lives in Boise bla bla bla)
"she really needs to get a blog"
"I know but I'll update you about her fam on my blog"
you knew the drill.

Anyway to my point, yes I have one. The DAY that my computer died is the day that Emily got one. Call me crazy but I am sensing "Sabotage" like she sent bad energy my way, well my computers way so that she could have all the blogging glory!! and yah she also talks to Ang and Soph on Skype...WHATEVER

Well I'm totally over it, I will sit here on my ancient lap top that is too much of a senior citizen to handle the job of loading pics onto it. (I'll nick name her Gert, short for Gertrude)
But I will dream of the day when I can take all of the comments that you leave on Em's new blog and put them back on mine.
until then
take care
Jacklyn (the former blogger who was robbed)

(here is the traitor acting like a cute sweet sister)

Ps. If you didn't get my jist, my computer is a piece so if I want to blog it has to be with all old pictures blah who wants that. I guess I could just blog thoughts and stories but let's bee real I'm sure half of you didn't even read this and you just skimmed it for pics haha Ah well what can you do. Maybe I'll write about Luke's 4th b-day and halloween next year. And I'll definitely blog about the fact that while I wrote this Lily covered the table with salt, dug out all the ashes from the fire place and covered the couch in deodorant.
Yah I'll blog about that LATER...
