Kind of Random

So I was sitting here trying to think of something really clever to write but I guess I'm right out of inspiration so I just thought that I would post a few pics of what has been going on in the ever exciting Edwards House!! Well for starters, the SUN came out yeaaahhh. We love our picnics in our back yard.( ie. the back deck)

Lily has learned that she loves to climb, even if she can't get down on her own

and Luke and I made the biggest blob of red Play Dough that I have ever seen. I hate hate hate the smell of the stuff but this recipe was actually great, it smelled like koolaid. (I got the recipe off of Lindsay's blog, thanks Lindsay's friend that I don't know) Luke loved it but I forgot that it probably needed to be put in the fridge and it went moldy, OoPs sorry Luke next time we'll make blue and your mom will get smarter!

And as a fun Valentines day project Ramz and the kiddies made chocolate dipped strawberries mmmm they were delish. I didn't really help cause I was somewhat sick-o and didn't think the friends in our ward that we gave them to would appreciate that, soo I just got to eat them!

And we wonder why Luke will never smile or look at the camera...Like father like son. After the strawberry dipping I went to Ontario (random I know but I will get to that, I got to see Sophie yeaaaahhh) more to come...

Ok I'll play

I guess all the rage these days is the 25 things business, well I have never done a tag before but....If that's what the cool kids are doing count me in.

25 things about moi

1: I am slightly OCD about things ex. when I am on a walk with someone I have to be on the right side don't ask me why

2: I still consider my high school friends to be my best friends (no I'm not stuck in high school, they are just amazing and one of them happens to be my sister)

3: I am the 5th of nine kids and I only have a slight case of middle child syndrome (refer to #4)

4: I was never put in swimming lessons, though I remember going to my sisters and watching

5: I have been on TV, When I was about twelve I was on a cooking show. I think I just stood there and pointed at a wheat grinder while it grinded wheat.

6: I once tried to break my best friends leg (at her request) in the end we settled on getting casting supplies and putting her arm in a home made cast. It was sweet until it started to harden and shrink, we then had to take a kitchen knife to it and saw it off before her fingers turned blue. (true story ask Jade, it was her arm)

7: I have yet to learn how to take a compliment, but I'm good at giving them.

8:I harbor a secret wish of being a dancer, Ballet, tap, whatever but I have never had lessons. Again I do remember watching my sisters ballet lessons and being jealous, what the heck.

9: My favorite show right now is Lost and I know it's ridiculous but I love it.

10: I went to Cuba on my honeymoon and anyone I tell that to here in the states thinks I'm coo coo.

11: I have been married for almost 7 years, time seriously flies.

12: I strongly believe that the best conversations in life happen between 2 and 5 in the morning with a good girlfriend, you get kinda loopy and then you can really bond.

13: The longest I've ever stayed up was 48 hours straight (my camper when I was like 15)

14: I love a good dare, and can be talked into making a fool out of myself for the enjoyment of others. I also don't get embarrassed to easily.

15:I love old cheesy movies the more singing and dancing the better.

16: I am a sucker for a good romance, My One true love is Mr. Darcy. Well I should say my pretend true love, in real life I am rather fond of my Mr. Ramsey

17: I love to travel and hope to do alot more of it some day.

18: Ramsey and I are probably the only people in the universe that don't have cell phones.

19: I want a big family but am not so crazy about being prego, hmm that may make it difficult.

20: I am very sarcastic and until people get to know me I get alot of confused looks on peoples faces.

21: I love when all Ramsey's brothers all get together, Even though they are loud, kind of obnoxious and most of their jokes are moking me, it's fun they are really loud and funny.

22: One of my favorite places to be in the world is in my parents backyard, I love it. That green swinging bench calls my name especially on the first of July.

23:I have no sense of direction. I can't believe I'm admitting this but I have gotten lost coming home to Raymond from Lethbridge, and I have also got lost going from Raymond to Calgary. I wasn't alone, you know who you are.

24: I am a cryer. I cry at anything, tv, church, a touching commercial, you name it I'll well up. I also cry when I'm mad...quite annoying.

25: I am the type of person who cares deeply about things, I love being a Mom and a wife.

Busy Doing Nothing

These days I am finding myself super busy, but doing nothing. Seriously if I looked at my week in a planner all I would have to show for myself is Tuesday- my visiting teacher came over and Wednesday we went to story time, woo I'm swamped. But I find myself being super busy all the same. I guess you just have to be a stay at home mom to really get it (no offense to the working folk I'm glad I don't have to be on a schedule) It's just a very different kind of work, always busy but not always alot to show for it. Although being a mom can sometimes be a thankless job (come on your kids don't realize that you pick up the living room 19 times a day) It's a great job and I wouldn't trade it for the world. When I was working at the Salon before I had kids, I never realized how much I fed off all the adult conversation I had. I had the best job ever, I absolutely loved what I did, I was my own boss, and people loved me! All day I would hear "Oh I love it" "your the best" "Nobody does my hair like you" I guess I should be a little bit more modest I probably heard that half the day but anyway...My point is that I got to chat all day (one of my fav pasttimes) and do hair (another fav) So anyway once I had Luke I loved being home but my usuall 8 hours a day of chatting with adults was condenced into waiting untill Ramsey got home and unleashing it on him. He was a jem about it but sometimes I think he wanted to come home from a long day and just veg. So Thanks Ramz for listening to my rambeling and thanks to my girlfriends who like to talk on the phone a good 10 hours a week(you know who you are). And here's to all the stay at home mom's who don't always get alot of thanks for the work they do. Just remember in the end...
It's totally worth it!
