How to eat a

SUGAR COOKIE!

First you get as much frosting as possible onto your knife

Never mind putting it on the cookie...that is for amatures. Go straight for the mouth
And Enjoy!!! Lily sure did

Our wards play group had a fun little valentines party and the kids loved it.

I was one of the mom's in charge of the Valentines day party for Luke's pre school so we did that too and it was fun. It was kind of fun for me cause I got to see Luke at school with all of his friends and see how he did with the other kids.

And the best part was that Lily finally got to go to Pre-school!! She was so happy to finally be part of the action, I just don't know how I'm going to hold her off for another 2 years. Every Thursday is the same thing "I want to go to preeeeee-schoooooool "

All in all we had a great Valentines day. The kids had fun (mostly because they got to eat frosting for lunch) We had fun making Valentine day hearts for each other for FHE, Luke wrote his name on all of the Valentines for his friends, Lily got to go to the party and Ramsey even made me a sweet gift, a coupon book well 3 coupon books.
He put one in the cupboard so I would find it on Sunday morning, one in the fridge and one in the bathroom cabinet. This would have been super sneaky accept for the fact that on Saturday night right before we were going to bed he begged me to get him something to drink out of the fridge (there goes surprise #1) then he said he needed something to eat too (surprise #2 done) and then when we got upstairs ha asked me to check if there was any toothpaste in the cupboard, I told him I didn't care cause I already brushed my teeth but he whined and whined so I went and checked and lo and behold...surprise #3!!!! So yah not so patient with surprises but it was still sweet. Well most of it was but I have to say that some of the "coupons" seem to be more for him than for me if you know what I mean hmmmm. Still not complaining Thanks Ramz and
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Luke boy

I can get Lily to sing all day (or maybe I should say that I can never get her to stop singing all day) but Luke on the other hand is a little more reserved, but every once in a while he finds a primary song he loves and this just happens to be his favorite for the time being.

ps. Lily was sick that day, she is not usually the mute in the corner haha

Snowy Fun

Shut down the city
it SNOWED!!!

I always have to laugh when the entire city shuts down just because it snows. When I was a kid we would pray for a snow day and very very seldom did we ever get one. Forty below plus windchill...bring it on. Bundle up the kids and off they go to school!!

I have to say that we had quite a fun little time playing in the snow, it made me feel like we were home in Canada freezing our butts off. I loved it!

And no I do not recomment doing a snow angel in jeans...Freezing!!!
